Today morning I saw in my email box invitation email for VCAP5-DCD Beta Exam from VMware.
The beta exam will be available from February 13th, 2011 through March 2nd, 2011. Registration Opens on Friday, February 10, 2012. Registration is on-line from PearsonVUE website.
There is only one requirement: exam is open only for VCAP4-DCDs. So if you are already DCD4 and didn’t got invitation for Beta VCAP-DCD5 exam you should contact with VMware certification centre Certification@vmware.com and ask for invitation.
Cost: 50% discount from standard price, so should be something about 250 EUR.
I think it’s a good opportunity to upgrade VCAP-DCD cert to version 5 for half of price.

I’ll be registering on Friday.
I sat the vcap4-dcd beta and the wait didn’t really bother me that much.
I actually have more time to prepare this time around, as I sat the vcap4-dcd exam 3 days after the vcap4-dca!
